Darn! I knew I should have waited to post Carmen's perm!! lol She would fit in perfectly with today's challenge on SCS which is to use a crimper or to pleat something on your creation.
I pleated some purely pomegranate to make a faux ribbon to section off my card from where i embossed only half the card. Faux brads were made with the crop-a-dile. Coluzzle was used to get my ovals. Added some Crystal Effects over the entire flower. Embossed Floral in black embossing powder on black cardstock. Wow!! Love the effect!!
stamp: For A Friend, Floral; ink: black stazon, purely pomegranate, versamark; paper: black, purely pomegranate, soft sky; accs: black embossing powder, aqua painter, crop-a-dile, oval coluzzle, cryastal effects
This was a very simple card to do. Build-A-Flower, boho blossom punch, 3/4 circle punch, an eyelet, crimper and a sentiment! You will want to put your cardstock through your crimper at a diagonal. Fold in half and cut out a foot ball shape to make leaves! Added some sponge to the leaves and flower to give some indepth. A little canvas background, more faux brads, a little sponge of the edges and you have a card! (flower and leaves are on dimensions)
stamp: Canvas, Sincere Salutations; paper: confetti; ink: black, bashful blue, old olive; accs: Build-a-Flower, eyelet, crop-a-dile, sponge, crimper, boho blossom punch, 3/4 circle punch, dimensions
