Bling and hoar frost

ambersblingajhcopy

Welcome to another Paper Pretties challenge. The first one of the new year to be exact! And It’s a fun one…. BLING!!

I used Happy Spring Polly (not that I am ready for spring in anyway, I love my snow!) for my card. Colored with copics and added bling to the flower and behind the spellbinder.

How to Enter: If you would like to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project using the above challenge and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword PWC239.

Don’t forget to include a link to your card on the Paper Pretties Blog, so everyone can see it too. You don’t have to use Paper Pretties stamps to play, but of course if you have them we would love to see you use them. One random participant will receive a Paper Pretties Stamps set … see the Paper Pretties Blog for more details.

Now I said I wasn’t ready for spring so to prove it… here is some pictures of the hoar frost we had this morning that I had to go out and take. And incase you are wondering what hoar frost is… Hoar frost (also called radiation frost or hoarfrost or pruina) refers to the white ice crystals, loosely deposited on the ground or exposed objects, that form on cold clear nights when heat losses into the open skies cause objects to become colder than the surrounding air.

The entire backyard just sparkled like diamonds. It was so pretty this morning. Pictures really don’t do it justice.
