You’re Fintastic

Fintastbowlajhcopy

So I have another sneak peek for you today from Paper Pretties. When I first saw this set, Fish Wishes, I knew what I wanted to do and it seems like the rest of the DT girls had the same idea!

  • Join us for our release Blog Hop this Wednesday 12 AM EST 14th September, starting on the Paper Pretties Blog.
  • New Release Stamps available in the Paper Pretties Boutique from Wednesday 12 AM EST 14th September.
  • Don’t forget to check out the Paper Pretties Blog to see who else is previewing the new stamps today.

I searched the net for a template and found Bigfoot & Pickle Face’s Kids Craft Ideas that had what I was looking for. I printed out the sheet and cut out just one little fish bowl. Ran it through my copier at 180% onto white cardstock. I folded it so the top would be closed (you don’t want those fish getting out!)

I colored my fish with prismacolor pencils and blended with odorless mineral spirits. Painted a little sparkling H2O on the darker blues and cut it out completely. Cut out a seaweed and used wave scissors for my water. Cut out sentiment with oval spellbinder and used rhinestones to make it look like bubbles coming from the fish.

The cool part is the bottom of my fish bowl. I used MuddPuddles Sea Glass for the rock look.
