Stampers are AMAZING

It’s been awhile since my last post but what can I say? It’s been crazy trying to get ready for Christmas. I have 2 Christmas card orders and my own cards to get done. Gifts for teachers, librarians, bus drivers and choir directors to do all this week before school is out for Christmas. And on top of that I haven’t even started any Christmas shopping! So needless to say, stamping has been put on the back burner for a while except for the above projects (which i will share when i get them all done! lol)

In the mean time I wanted to send out a BIG THANK YOU to everyone that sent cards for the Paula Lowery silent auction basket. We had an overwhelming response of over 300 cards!!! They came from: St.Paris, OH, WA, CT, AZ, OR, UT, MA, WI, IL, PA, CO, FL, MI, CA, TX, MN, Greece, Australia, Canada, Germany

Which as you’ll see below.. was very hard to take a picture of all of them at once!

Here is how we packaged them for the auction:

The benefit supper/auction was a huge success as over 600 tickets were sold! Mom and I volunteered our time to help cook and serve. I of course took my camera along and ended up becoming the photographer when the supper started (which is why you don’t see me in any of the pictures)!  All in all they raised over $20,000 for the family with the baskets playing a small part. One basket went in the silent auction for $50.00 and the other one went in the live auction for $75.00.

Here is a few pictures I took from the supper that I thought you might enjoy seeing.

Once again THANK YOU to all those who sent cards. We wouldn’t have been able to make such great baskets without your help. Stampers are the best!!
