Storytime at Jim's Pizza Chalet

Our library has a great kids program. Every month there is a Family Fun night for the entire family/kids 3 and up. October is Pizza month so every October, Bev, the head children's librarian has some kind of "pizza" night. This October the library took a field trip to a newly opened Pizza place in our little town. Each kid got to go into the back and make their own pizza, watch it be placed in the oven and then of course eat it when it was done. While they waited for their turn, Bev read stories that of course invovled PIZZA! Even though it was rainy and cold last night, there was still at least 20 or so kids there to make pizzas! Here are just a few shots of my kids making pizza at Jim's Pizza Chalet!

Jorden and Benjamin waiting patiently for their sisters to get 'cleaned' before starting the pizzas.

Making their own cheese Pizzas.

Carmen watching her pizza being next in line to bake.

Everyone enjoying their pizzas.

Jorden enjoying her pizza. And yes, she ate it all!!
