Operation Write Home challenge

Paper and Such is sponsoring the Operation Write Home challenge - a great organization that sends blank, handmade greeting cards to our brave men and women serving overseas so that they can keep in touch with their families. Please check out their site to play along as the prize  this time is a Paper and Such stamp set of your choice!!   The challenge is a color challenge with colors of red, kraft, black - or blue.

I used Song in my Heart but stamped only 2 of the birds. Colored them with prismacolor pencils and blended with odorless mineral spirits. Cut them out of the box a little. Sentiment is from Basket of Flowers. Used border punch on the side and for the red stripe. Used Baker’s Twine to bring more red to the card. Carried the brown over to the inside with the brown paper. Main card is Kraft

Also for the following challenges:

Clean & Simple – Sketch
Little Red Wagon – Twine
Mark’s Finest Papers – Use a Punch

          Thanks for stopping by!
