Our Craft Lounge Blog Hop with Blog Candy!

Welcome to your first stop on the Our Craft Lounge Blog hop! I hope you have enjoyed the sneak peeks the last 2 days. Today, I am showing you Fishing with Dad. This has to be one of my favorite sets this release.

 

I used Tim Holtz distress inks and stippled them on with a stipple brush. The fish is colored in with prismacolor pencils and blended with odorless mineral spirits. I applied diamond glaze over top of it to give it a shiny look. It’s attached with Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots so it has some dimension to it. Did some faux stitching around the edge.

As for my second card… I couldn’t get away from that stippling with distress inks!! This time though I added in the island in the background and cut out the entire image in an oval. Used a nestie to cutout the bottom layer and added rhinestones to it. At the bottom of the card I used a cuttlebug folder.
