Everyone has a Christmas Angel, right? It could be that neighbor down the street who snow blows the entire length of the sidewalk after every heavy snow (God bless that man!). It could be a package stuck between your doors from 'friends'. That fruit basket on the porch from the neighbor wishing you a Merry Christmas. The person behind you in line at the store covering the last few dollars that you went over. See Christmas Angels! (okay They are angels anytime!)
We've had a Christmas Angel/Angels this past week drop off a gift. And since we don't really have a complete clue to who they are, I decided to send them a Virtual Thank You card via my blog. Maybe someone that was in on this gift will see my post and share it with the other Angels.
Using today's sketch challenge 207, I pulled out a retired SU set, that I will never part with, Angelic. Stamping the angel in bravo burgundy onto very vanilla. Little dtp with the ink around her. Layered her on black and then again bravo burgundy which I distressed. Added some faux stitching on the tabs and design paper. Some brads on the tabs.
stamp: Angelic; paper: bravo burgundy, old olive, very vanilla, retired SU dsp; ink: bravo burgundy; accs: brads, distressing tool, artist pen
Once again, Thank you so much to our Christmas Angels. You don't know how much this means to us. Words just can't express our appreciation or our surprise at your thoughtfulness.

What a neat image! I don't blame you for not ever wanting to part with it! I love this color combo too! Very neat faux stitching!
I just love the thought of angels being all around me and angels do seem to pop up around us when we need them most in so many ways and you are just so so right!!!!!!
Your card is so stunning and the layout is so perfect.... Love it ....thanks for sharing!!!!
Wow. I have never seen this image, but it is absolutely beautiful. I love the colors, Bravo Burgundy has recently become a color I use often, it is so pretty. Love the brads on the tabs. Great job. And you're right...we all do have Christmas Angels of some sort. Merry Christmas.
