What about the weekend?

I seem to be terrible at posting during the weekends! Please forgive me. I do stamp over the weekends but I also try to spend more time with the family. Okay so this weekend we had to watch two important football games Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket to see if our beloved Ohio State makes it to the championship! And they are going because the other guys lost!! woo hoo!! (sorry, was that a little mean? lol)

Anyways, back to stamping... Beth posted the Featured Stamper for Sunday early on Saturday night. I jumped right on it and was the first card (if you don't count Beth's) to be posted!! I'm never that early on a challenge! But she took everyone by surprize posting so early that no one had thought to check the thread!

CUTTERSCALLOUS was the Featured Stamper. I actually picked out a few cards that I could do. I picked her Whipper Snapper Snowman to case.

Using Rubbernecker's Framed Snowman I went to work. I had used mom's cuttlebug a while back and remembered I had an extra piece that would work with the snowman.

Pretty simple card, watercolored with watercolor crayons, a little bit of designer paper, ribbon and some brads! When folded, card is 3 1/2 by 4 1/8! A cute little size.

Stamp set: Rubbernecker's Framed Snowman; Paper - Red, white, design paper; Acces: cuttlebug, ribbon, brads, notched corner punch, watercolor crayons, aquapainter

Carmen (my 11yr old), use to race home from school, check SCS to see what the challenge was, sit right down, make a card and I would then upload them to her own album in my gallery. She was bored on Saturday so I showed her the featured stamper. She picked out the Love card to case.

Being the nice mom that I am, I mouted the set "Time Well Spent" that will appear in the Spring/Summer '08 catalog as a level 3 hostess set. (This was a gift from Shelli for being a demo. Like the perk? Contact me about being a demo.)

Carmen changed the colors, used My Favorite Things: Essential Sentiments for her saying and pulled out some of my big brads to use. The ribbon really matches well but the camera just didn't like it.

Stamp set: Essential Sentiments by MFT, SU's No Time Spent; Paper: Lavendar Lace, Pink Passion, Green Galore; Ink: Black, Pink Passion, Green Galore; Acces: brads, markers

Great cards! How much fun for you to be able to stamp with your daughter. That's great.

Congratulations on the Rubbernecker Guest Designer.

...and I almost forgot.... Go Bucks!!!!
